The Paris Agreement is a cornerstone of global climate action and Article 6 is a critical component for the success of this treaty. However, it isn't uncommon to feel distant from these conversations and negotiations between countries as regular citizens. In this webinar, we'll explore how Article 6 will—directly or indirectly—impact our day-to-day lives and what opportunities we can foster from it.
To help us fully understand this topic, we're joined by guest speaker Lev Gantly. Lev is a partner at Phillip Lee LLP specialising in domestic and international climate law, with a deep understanding of frameworks within the verified carbon market as well as the evolving international laws under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement.
We'll dive into questions such as:
Learn more about DGB and our guest speaker Lev Gantly.
Find out what is the Paris Agreement and why Article 6 is so important and relevant.
Learn what are ITMOs, what is their purpose and how they compare to carbon units.
Learn what practical impacts and effects we can expect from Article 6 and its implementation.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from Lev. Questions can be sent in advance or asked during the live stream.
