          System management

          System management is an important factor of carbon farming. It includes cropping systems for green manure, compost extracts, utilising livestock, and many other ways to help you manage soil organic carbon while creating a holistic approach with positive feedback loops.

          Conventional practices

          Conventional agriculture includes monoculture cropping, tilling, chemical pesticides, and more. These can have significant negative effects on the soil. Still, within these traditional practices, we’ve found eco-friendly solutions to increase organic carbon and lessen negative environmental impacts.

          Training and expertise

          With the experience and expertise of our team, together with the training they provide to landowners and farmers, crop yields and production can increase. For example, with DGB’s training, farmers can learn to increase their coffee yield per tree from 20 kg to 200 kg.

          Data analysis

          Soil carbon rates increase due to biological processes and research assisted by analysing data. Our data analysis shows that these biological activities also improve root systems and help plants grow faster.

It involves sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and storing it in the soil and tree biomass through regenerative agricultural practices.           I own 20,000 ha. of land. How can DGB help, and how do I financially benefit?

          Large landowners (10.000+ ha) can benefit financially from the sale of carbon credits. Prices vary based on your land's location and size. However, landholders are always guaranteed a minimum payment per carbon credit. Please get in touch with us and tell us what you have available, and we'll create a tailor-made offer for your land.

          I have access to a large community. How can DGB help, and how do I financially benefit?

          We support communities who are willing to adopt more sustainable land-use practices. DGB provides value in the broadest sense of the word. Just show us your land, and we'll come up with ways to help you. Examples might include increasing tree coverage and improving soil quality. While our methods improve your land, they also generate registry-issued carbon credits, which are increasingly in demand by major corporations and provide another source of income.

          How can DGB help me financially benefit from access to large amounts of land?

          We help you benefit financially by making better land-use practices economically viable. We provide a plan to improve your land and partner with you to see it through. By working with DGB, the increased soil quality and enhanced carbon sequestration of your land generate registry-issued carbon credits, which are increasingly in demand by major corporations.

          What are the requirements for my land?

          We provide value for every landowner. Just show us your land, and we'll come up with ways to help you. DGB will partner with you to help you increase the value of your land and get paid for the credits you generate. The added value depends on the features of the land. Examples include increased tree coverage, enhanced soil health and other improvements that benefit your land and our planet.

          What are my responsibilities as a landowner?

          You handle the operations; we do the rest. DGB designs the project and covers the credit verification and all soil sampling costs. In addition, we act as your committed partner and actively work to connect with buyers to sell credits at premium market prices. Our expert team will support your carbon journey with five-year contracts and tailor-made support. Together, we'll unlock the hidden value of your land, both from carbon credit income and soil health improvements.

          How much can I get paid?
