Upcoming planting targets

Looking ahead, we have set clear and ambitious planting targets that will further expand our impact:

  • October–November 2024: 400 hectares.

  • March–May 2025: 400 hectares.

These efforts will result in an additional 800 hectares of forest restoration, bringing our total planted area to 1,400 hectares by June 2025.

Future outlook

Our long-term vision for the Hongera Reforestation Project is to continue planting on a larger scale. From June 2025, we plan to plant 800 hectares per season. With this rate of expansion, it means we are on track to achieve a total of 3,000 hectares by June 2026.

This rapid scaling reflects our commitment to restoring degraded land and supporting the communities we work with. By revitalising these areas, we aim to promote biodiversity, prevent deforestation, and create sustainable opportunities for local families. With continued backing from investors, stakeholders, and companies wishing to address their carbon footprints, the Hongera Reforestation Project is set to make a significant environmental and social impact in the coming years.

We invite you to continue following the progress of our projects. Together, we can restore harmony between humanity and the environment, ensuring a thriving world for generations to come.
