DGB Group N.V. ("DGB" of "de Groep") (Euronext: DGB: NL0009169515), een toonaangevend natuurprojectontwikkelaar en ecosysteemherstelbedrijf, heeft een opdrachtbief ontvangen van een Europees oob-accountantskantoor. Deze brief geeft aan dat het accountantskantoor klaar en in staat is om de controle van DGB's jaarrekening voor het boekjaar 2024 uit te voeren.
Deze ontwikkeling is een belangrijke stap in het zekerstellen van de beursnotering. De ontvangst van een opdrachtbrief is in lijn met de compliance-richtlijnen vastgesteld door Euronext Amsterdam op 11 oktober 2023, en benadrukt DGB's toewijding aan naleving van regelgeving en robuust financieel toezicht.
Het geselecteerde accountantskantoor, gevestigd binnen de Europese Unie, voldoet aan alle oob-registratievereisten. Het kantoor heeft DGB geïnformeerd over zijn registratie bij de AFM en verwacht dat dit proces binnenkort zal worden voltooid. De accountantscontrole zal worden uitgevoerd door een Nederlandse externe accountant die al geregistreerd is bij zowel de NBA als de AFM.
DGB heeft deze ontwikkeling gecommuniceerd aan Euronext. Door te voldoen aan de vereisten van Euronext, verwacht DGB dat het proces van delisting binnenkort zal worden stopgezet. Het stopzetten van het delisting-proces zal de aanwezigheid van DGB Group op Euronext Amsterdam zekerstellen, maar het zal op de strafbank van Euronext blijven tot de accountantscontrole is voltooid.
Na de voltooiing van de registratie van het accountantskantoor, is het de intentie van de Raad van Bestuur van DGB om formeel de benoeming van dit accountantskantoor voor te stellen tijdens de volgende aandeelhoudersvergadering. DGB is toegewijd aan het handhaven van transparantie en zal ervoor zorgen dat alle belanghebbenden tijdig worden geïnformeerd over eventuele ontwikkelingen.
